The reason why you getting this message " failed to copy " because you didn't enabled the unknown resource in security settings in the deviec.

  13. Hi there! I also get the "link failed permission denied" and all the "can't copy" errors. I have the latest LG driver (3.7.2), all the security checked on the device, everything allowed, connected properly. Any ideas of why it can't connect and root? Also my question, if root is succesful, can it be undone if needed? unroot script perhaps?
Anyway thanks for your effort on making this package! ;)

    1. Check once whether you enabled USB debugging mode and unknown sources in security settings.

Yes you can unroot the device if unroot process is available. Another way to unroot the device is by installing the fresh new OS once again and you will get warranty back.

    2. LGL3e400: 2.3.6, v10s.
Tried 3 PC's (winxp,7,vista) a Linux box and two OSX machines, all with the proper ADB's, JDK's, LG-drivers, sudo'd all the stuff in Linux and of course the correct settings on the phone itself. Tried all the OneClick programs and their variations. Tried to downgrade the firmware ...: no go, all still (roughly) the same stuff as the Dwight up here.

When I go into the root (from a win7pro-box's cmd line) and give the command to root it gives me variations on "not supported". This means the firmware itself is protected, right?

When I go in to the fastbootloader it will not let me swap files, even when phone is in "recovery mode/emergency mode". So, I have found no way to unlock the bootloader, unlock the flash (recovery) or whatsoever.

      Any thoughts?

  21. It seems that all the problems has to do with the software version on the device. I have a device (lg e400) with software version V10s (feb 11-2013) that i also can't root. If anyone knows a solution please let us know.
