DeleteHi there! I also get the "link failed permission denied" and all the "can't copy" errors. I have the latest LG driver (3.7.2), all the security checked on the device, everything allowed, connected properly. Any ideas of why it can't connect and root? Also my question, if root is succesful, can it be undone if needed? unroot script perhaps?
ReplyDeleteAnyway thanks for your effort on making this package! ;)
Check once whether you enabled USB debugging mode and unknown sources in security settings.
DeleteYes you can unroot the device if unroot process is available. Another way to unroot the device is by installing the fresh new OS once again and you will get warranty back.

DeleteLGL3e400: 2.3.6, v10s.
DeleteTried 3 PC's (winxp,7,vista) a Linux box and two OSX machines, all with the proper ADB's, JDK's, LG-drivers, sudo'd all the stuff in Linux and of course the correct settings on the phone itself. Tried all the OneClick programs and their variations. Tried to downgrade the firmware ...: no go, all still (roughly) the same stuff as the Dwight up here.
When I go into the root (from a win7pro-box's cmd line) and give the command to root it gives me variations on "not supported". This means the firmware itself is protected, right?
When I go in to the fastbootloader it will not let me swap files, even when phone is in "recovery mode/emergency mode". So, I have found no way to unlock the bootloader, unlock the flash (recovery) or whatsoever.
Any thoughts?
i have an LG e400 with v10g-oct-31-2012 firmware and it appear link permission denied!! please help me
ReplyDeletelink permission denied means you unable to download the rooting tool right?
Deleteno, it's appear during rooting my phone!! Sorry for bad English!!
Deletehave you enabled unknown sources in security settings?
Deletethank you very much...
ReplyDeletegood job
Hey I'm stucked at *daemon started successfully* for about 10mins. so I decided to just stop the process. how long should i wait on rooting?
ReplyDeleteThe rooting process will take 2 to 3 minutes. Check whether have you enabled USB debugging and Unknown sources in settings or not?
DeleteIt seems that all the problems has to do with the software version on the device. I have a device (lg e400) with software version V10s (feb 11-2013) that i also can't root. If anyone knows a solution please let us know.
ReplyDeletemay be it's also one of the issue newer firmware version will not support rooting. You need to find rooting process for your exact firmware version V10s.
Deletei have versionv10m-SEP-17-2012 can it work in this version?please reply
Deleteyes it works you can proceed without any problem.
DeleteHello it has no use all the version with 2.3.6 is not possible to root or brick,I have readed from german website,so everyone must wait for some one to find out to root the 2.3.6. version...
