How to Root HTC One V with Bootloader

HTC One V is one of the HTC One series which has been released recently and has many good features like preloaded with Android 4.0 ICS, HTC Sense 4.0 and much more. 2. Backup all data which you need like SMS, Contacts, Call Log, APN and MMS settings.
3. USB Cable (USB to Micro USB or the one your Smartphone supports).
4. 80% of Battery Life is more important! (Low battery will result in unexpected Error).
5. Disable all antivirus in the system before starting the rooting process.
6. Enable USB Debugging from here Settings>Applications>Development>USB Debugging tick mark and enable it.
7. Windows, Mac or Linux Operating System. (Only One).

Here are the Steps and Procedure How to Root HTC One V with Bootloader and Unlock

Step 1: First of all you need to download Unlocked Bootloader Zip File From Here 

2. Unzip all the files from Superboot image, you will get one .bat extension file and move it to the desktop so as to access it easily.

3: TURN OFF your Phone.

4: Boot your HTC One V to Bootloader mode. To do so, Press and hold Volume Down Key and then Power Key.

5: After getting into the Bootloader mode, then connect your phone to the PC using the USB Cable.

6: Select the process according to your OS. If you are from windows then select Windows OS.

Windows Users: Run the install-superboot-windows.bat file by double clicking on it.

7: Rooting process will start taking place. When it is done, disconnect your phone from the PC and then Boot up normally. The rooting is finally done.

Last Step: After rooting the device do remember to back up your files and other data if you have hosted any file online. If you have done so, then no need to think about it as it would be safe.

  1. Hmm..This didn't work for me. I've tried a couple other rooting processes for this phone, so far haven't found one that worked. Followed directions, but like the other times after running the bat file, phone goes to the "This build is for developers only..." screen, then goes black. LED is still on, so I wait a little while...Stays on, so eventually I reboot the phone with the power button. Any ideas?
