The bitten apple says it all when it comes to their mobile devices, tablet PC’s and home computing. The revolutionary Apple Inc. who is also known for their gigantic app store with millions of apps has come up with a new app which they have named as “iPhoto” for the iOS users.

Just before the release of this app, people thought of photo editing only on big computer screen, with loads of messy and unclear options which ultimately confuse the user and at the end, ends up with a worse photo edit. Photo editing on iPhone is way easier than editing on a Mac PC's, with easy User interface and convenient finger control that is not possible using a keyboard or a mouse. Feature like “Detect Edges” detects the starting and ending position of an object, which makes easy finger touch experience. It also comes with tips and guides giving details about the usage of many features and also has the option to see the un-edited, original photo at any level of editing which is really helpful for beginners.
The newest version of iPhoto is a fast performance app, where photo editing options are more user friendly than any other photo editing software available these days. There are in total eight options available for white balance adjustments and gives user options to glowing skin tones and deeper the color of background weather of a photo, which gives a sigh of relief to an average person’s requirement.
At the top of the screen there are four different categories which help user to multitask in the app, which are: Albums, Photos, Events and Journals. Albums are organized on a glassy shelf and app self-created albums are created to handle the edited and favorite images. At the bottom of the screen many tools appear for editing photos. Each editing options has its own importance like darken, lighten, and repair, sharpening or softening of the image.
The photo journals take over Apple’s earlier creation of Mobile Me photo galleries. Now, the journals basically provide with each minute detail of an image arranging sorted albums and events in a digital scrapbook simultaneously giving detailed information about maps, weather and an option of adding a self-written quotations and memories.
Like any other new creation, iPhoto also has few problems. First, the albums and events are not designed in true sense of organizing photos, instead of giving it a user creation appearance it makes it more of desktop editing in iPhoto formerly syncing with iCloud.
Second problem is that sharing photo journals wirelessly is only by first streaming them on iCloud. This eventually creates an exclusive Web link to the photo journal. Though the link can be shared via emails but users’ creation through popular social networking sites like Facebook and sites like SmugMug is not directly incorporated and long URL’s makes the it look awful on Facebook. Apple promises to fix this in the future software update.
Third problem is with the software compatibility, iPhoto only works for iPhone 4 and later models. It’s heartbreaking news for those who have iPhone 3G or 3GS.
With many such touch features like magnifying image by double tapping and zooming closer by rotating it, other many new and amazing acts are observed when one gets his hand on the Apple’s iPhoto app.
